Refund Policy

Sparx offers a generous and consistent refund and course credit policy. We know that things can change and we want to be fair to you while protecting our small business:

  • If we are notified 10 days or more before the first class: We will happily either fully refund your fees minus a 15% processing & admin fee OR  credit 90% your payment towards a future program within the next 12 months!

  • If you notify us within 9 to 4 days before the first class: At this point we have little chance of booking another student after reserving this space for you! We are happy to split your payment with you and refund you 50% of your fees. We are also happy, if you choose, to keep 70% of your payment and credit it towards a future program within the next 12 months!

  • Notification within 72 hours before a course begins: This is very hard on our small business. But we still want to help! We will refund you 33% of your fees. We are also happy, if you choose, to keep your payment and credit 50% of it towards a future program within the next 12 months!  Please note that NO refunds or credits  are given once a program has begun.

  • Transfer Program Date(s):  We offer a 24 hour grace period with no transfer fee from the time your original booking was received (subject to spots being available). If over 24 hours and you would like to change the dates you signed up for  (i.e you had a schedule change or double booking) please send an E- transfer payment messaged "Transfer Of Program To __your chosen date___" to of $10/child. Once again this is subject to a spot being available, if not our standard refund policy applies.

*Please note that if you cancel within 72 hours before a Summer, Winter or March Break Camp begins due to a positive COVID result (with photo proof) of the registered child ONLY, we will give you a full credit  towards another camp/program of your choice that has available space within a 12 month period. If you do not choose the credit option, we offer a 50% refund. *

*If Sparx Studio, our location facility, Ontario Government or City of Toronto decides to not allow in-person class(es) due to COVID-19 or conditions out of Sparx's control, Sparx will offer  an alternative date or  a  discounted virtual course in its place. If not used, the customer may request a 75% refund  OR a 85%  credit to be used within 12 months.*

*Promo Codes, Discounts & Special Sales: Customers can use these at the time of their current registration as long as it is still within the valid usage dates and for the correctly advertised product. Sparx Studio is not responsible nor will refund customers forgetting or missing out on a discount, promo or sale. *

Please save all receipts and invoices sent from Sparx.  Our system automatically sends receipts and invoices when a payment is made through  our website.   We charge a $10 administrative fee if you request us to  send you  a new one.  If so, it can be sent via E-transfer to and please write in the message box 'Invoice Request For _____'. (and insert the year or course you would like an invoice for).

*We do not tolerate  certain behaviors  including  but not limited to, excessive noise, destructive or unsafe behavior, harassment, hate speech, threats, and violence. If you are  contacted by one of our Instructors stating that your child has been doing at least 1  of these unacceptable behaviors, you are required to pick them up immediately  and no refund will be received.  Please note that this is worse case scenario and that our instructors will always try to  avoid any situation like this ever occurring in the first place.  This policy is set in stone as  our Sparx  promise is to  provide  a  safe and fun environment for all children and instructors.

*Students must be at least 4 years of age and fully toilet trained before the first day of any Program they are registered for. Additionally, students must be able to fully regulate themselves in a group setting without any additional one on one support unless they bring someone qualified (such as a caregiver or parent) with them for the entire duration of the Program. Sparx will not be responsible or provide an additional staff member to assist. If a student is registered that do not meet these requirements and you cancel before the program begins, our standard Refund & Cancellation Policy applies. If you or Sparx discovers this after a program has begun and no additional care giver or parents can be present with the child, no refund will be given.
